1.1 To book a place on a course, you must be: At least 18 years old, or a parent/guardian on behalf of a child.
1.2 You can book for any number of courses if the participant meets the specified age limitations for those sessions or courses.
1.3 Spaces on each course are subject to availability.
1.4 To make any booking, you will need to provide debit/credit card details. If you do not have a credit/debit card, you will need to contact the Ipswich Town Foundation office on 01473 400980.
1.5 If you have credit on your account, you can use this against any new costs, unless stated otherwise.
1.6 All bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is required upon booking, unless stated otherwise.
1.7 Bookings will close once the session, or course is fully subscribed. Where available, waiting lists can be joined and you will be contacted should a space become available.
1.8 Information relating to a booking will not be disclosed to anyone other than the adult who has directly made the booking. Where the course is held in conjunction with a third party, for example a school, we may share information in accordance with our privacy policy.
1.9 You may be liable for a late collection fee if continuous late collection occurs.
2.1 It is imperative you complete the section and tell us about any medical conditions or medication the participant requires. We may require additional information depending on the medical information supplied to us by you before we can accept your booking.
2.2 Ipswich Town Foundation reserve the right to cancel any bookings where staff are not suitably trained to appropriately manage or look after the participant.
3.1 You will receive your booking confirmation by email. Please ensure you provide a valid email address when booking.
3.2 If the confirmation screen does not load or you do not receive your confirmation email, please check your "Junk" or "Spam" folders before contacting the Foundation. If you do not receive confirmation, it is unlikely that your booking has been successful so please contact us to check.
4.1 We do not issue refunds unless we cancel a course (please see Cancellations)
4.2 In the event of an unforeseen event or an injury where three or more sessions are missed, we may issue you with a Credit Note for the value of the missed sessions which can be redeemable against any future Foundation course for up to a period of 12 months; but this will be at the Foundation’s sole discretion. A medical certificate may be required.
4.3 The parent/guardian or appropriate adult will need to contact the Foundation prior to or during the course to inform us. Failure to do so may result in a Credit Note not being issued. We do not issue credit notes for sessions missed due to illness.
5.1. Ipswich Town Foundation reserves the right to cancel any course at any time. If we have to cancel a course (or individual sessions within a course) we will offer an alternative date or course (if available and suitable), issue a refund or Credit Note equal to the value of the cancelled sessions. Any refunds made will be at our sole discretion.
6.1 If by any reason of any Event of Force Majeure Ipswich Town Foundation is delayed in, or prevented from, performing any of the provisions of the booking or delivering any services to the customer, then such delay or non-performance or non-delivery shall not constitute a breach of these terms and conditions, and the obligations of Ipswich Town Foundation shall be suspended for the entire duration of such Event of Force Majeure. Ipswich Town Foundation shall not be liable to the customer for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation arising as a direct or indirect result of breach or non-performance of this Agreement due to an Event of Force Majeure. For the purpose of this clause: Event of Force Majeure shall mean "any event affecting the performance of any provision of this booking arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions or accidents which are beyond the reasonable control of Ipswich Town Foundation including any abnormally inclement weather, flood, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, earthquake, subsidence, structural damage, epidemic, pandemic or other natural physical disasters, failure or shortage of power supplies, war, military operations, riot, crowd disorder, strike, lock-outs or other industrial action, terrorist action, civil commotion and any legislation, regulation, ruling or omissions (including failure to grant any necessary permissions) of any relevant government, court or any competent national or international authority or Governing Body. For the avoidance of doubt, any decision or order of the Government, the Safety Advisory Group, the Police or any Governing Body which prevents the Ipswich Town Foundation from taking bookings shall be an Event of Force Majeure".
7.1 We reserve the right to exclude any participant for any reason, including but not limited to inappropriate parent/guardian or child behaviour, illness, bullying and repeated late collection. Where the participant is a child and the child's comprehension or understanding is such that it may affect the child's safety or other children, we reserve the right to discuss this with the parent, guardian or referring agency and not permit the child to return. Refunds will not be offered for any remaining sessions where the participant has been excluded. No refund will be made for sessions missed, and no compensation will be made for any other costs or losses incurred as a result.
