Ipswich Town Foundation operates a ‘nut free environment’ for all its sessions.
Whilst we cannot completely eradicate the risk of exposure to nuts we will do our utmost to reduce the risk for those who are allergic.
Therefore, if a packed lunch is required (such as at a Soccer School) we request you do not include any items displaying the following on their packaging:
Products such as peanut butter, Nutella, nut food bars, sesame seed products and anything else containing nuts should not be consumed at an Ipswich Town Foundation session.
Please also ensure you have notified us of any allergies your child may have at the point of booking or registration.
Why do I need to register?
All participants must register on the booking site to book an activity with Ipswich Town Foundation. This ensures that we have the correct contact details, parental permissions, and medical information to ensure the safety for participants.
Can both boys and girls attend?
Most of our sessions are mixed, however the activity booking description will state if it is a specific boys or girls only session.
Will I get a booking confirmation email?
Once you have completed the booking, you will receive a booking confirmation within 24 hours. If you do not receive this, please check your junk mail in case it has been blocked.
How do I change my password?
Please choose the option 'forgotten password' you will then receive an email with instructions to change your password.
How do I use my e-wallet credit?
If you have any credit on your account, when you reach the last stage of the booking process you will be given an option to “use wallet balance”. This will appear as a blue box at the bottom of the page before payment is confirmed. Click on this blue box and you will see the credit amount you have. You can then choose to use all, or part of, the credit in your account against the cost of the session you are booking.
Will I get a refund if the session is cancelled?
Please refer to our terms and conditions. All refunds are processed at the Foundation's sole discretion.
Can I cancel a session after I have booked it?
If you are unable to attend a session, that is not a problem – we realise that there will be times when players cannot attend. However, as per our Terms & Conditions, we are unable to refund or credit for individual sessions missed.
Can I get a refund/credit if I need to cancel a booking/session?

What does my child need to bring?
This depends for which session you are booked onto. For weekly football sessions and after school clubs, children need to bring suitable footwear, suitable football clothing (weather dependent) and plenty to drink.
For Soccer Schools in the holidays, children that are not on our HAF programme, will need to bring a packed lunch – sun cream in the summer too!
Can my child bring a mobile phone?
If participants need to bring mobile phones to sessions, these must remain in their bags at all times, if these are persistently used during the session the participant will be asked to sit out of a portion of the session. We do not allow any other devices to be brought to our sessions. Ipswich Town Foundation take no responsibility for lost, stolen or broken personal property. Exceptions (for instance for medical reasons) must be discussed with the head coach prior to the session beginning.
What footwear does my child need to wear?
Each session will state what type of surface you child will be playing on. The majority of our sessions will require either football moulds (no metal studs) or trainers.
Does my child need to wear Ipswich Town Foundation kit?
No, they do not need to wear Ipswich Town kit.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Every effort is made for sessions to go ahead unless there are extreme weather conditions. Therefore, please ensure the participant has the appropriate clothing for the session. We will communicate with you if a session is cancelled due to the weather.
How will I know if the sessions is cancelled or postponed?
In the first instance, we will send an email to notify you of the cancellation or the postponement to the session at the earliest possible point.
What if my child is no longer able to attend the session?
If your child is no longer able to attend the session, please email your programme contact or community@itfcfoundation.co.uk - please note, we do not issue refunds unless we cancel a course. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
Who do I need to contact if I am running late or there is a change of pick up?
Please call 01473 400980 and we will notify the relevant coaches.
Can parents stay and watch?
This is dependent on the location of the session. Please email your programme contact or community@itfcfoundation.co.uk if you're unsure.
How will I know if the course is full?
If a course is full it will show as red on the booking page and will give you an option to be added to the waiting list.
Is there a waiting list?

At Ipswich Town Foundation, we want your child to get the most out their experience with us. We strongly recommend that your child brings the following items. If your child arrives at the venue without the compulsory items (marked *) we regret that they will not be permitted to take part and full payment will still be taken.
Appropriate footwear*
We recommend football boots (studs or moulds), Astroturf trainers or trainers. For information on the turf at specific venues, please email community@itfcfoundation.co.uk
Packed Lunch
For our Soccer Schools in the holidays, a healthy lunch is important for your child to maintain good energy levels. All groups will have 30 minutes lunch break and a break for a snack mid-morning.
Shin Pads*
Shin pads are compulsory for each child. Without shin pads, your child will not be able to take part. If your child does not currently own shin pads, you can purchase shin pads from our Club shop or online store.
Water
We cannot guarantee regular access to water at some venues, therefore it is important to ensure that your child stays well hydrated by providing plenty of water for the day.
Goalkeepers Gloves
If your child is a goalkeeper, or is booked on to a goalkeeping course, then it is compulsory to bring goalkeeping gloves. We will not be able to provide these at our courses.
Sun Cream
We recommend that you provide your child with sun cream, particularly during summer courses, as participants may be out in the sun for a few hours each day.
